North Stradbroke Island (Minjerribah) is accessed by water taxis and vehicular barges that leave from Toondah Harbour Cleveland and arrive at Dunwich on the island. From there it is a short drive or bus trip across the island to Point Lookout.
Via Public Transport
Cleveland can be accessed by trains and buses that leave from Brisbane Central. All water taxis that arrive at the island connect with the bus service. Please note that the bus takes only cash. It costs $5.00 per adult for the trip to the point. We are the last stop at the point. Once off the bus, cross the road to Bob Minty's surf shop walk up Moongalba Road and North Lane is the first St on the left.
Cleveland is about 40mins from Brisbane along the Old Cleveland Road. If you're coming from the north or the airport take the Old Cleveland road exit from the Gateway Motorway and then follow the signs to Cleveland.
If you're heading up from the Gold Coast take the M1 north and exit at exit 30 onto the Beenleigh Redland Road. Turn left onto the Mount Cotton Road, right onto Woodlands Drive and then right onto Shore St W. From there, follow the signs to Toondah Harbour.
